| Ed Deavers is completing his 29th year of teaching. Before coming to Kennesaw Mountain, he spent one year at Harrison High School and 16 years as Chairman of the Theatre Department of The Walker School where he directed over 60 full-length plays, 25 one-acts, and a dozen musicals. He has completed a directing internship with The Alliance Theatre and has also directed at KSU. Too, he has spent the last few years working on his doctoral dissertation, "Shakespeare: Pedagogy, Plays, and Persuasion" at The Universities of Warwick and Sheffield, England, and has spent numerous summers with The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon.
